Paulo Mireles Morales is a retired law enforcement professional and lifelong public servant running for California State Assembly in District 67. Born into a hardworking family, Paulo grew up in Southern California and attended St. John Bosco High School, where he was elected ASB President. He earned a congressional appointment to the United States Naval Academy and later studied finance and economics at California State University Long Beach.
Paulo spent more than two decades with the Cypress Police Department, serving in patrol, investigations, SWAT, and hostage negotiations. He became a court-recognized expert in impaired driving enforcement. Beyond his badge, Paulo served as board president for MADD Orange County, worked with the Boy Scouts of America as District Chairman, and has supported St. John Bosco High School for more than three decades.
Paulo is running to bring balanced, pragmatic leadership to Sacramento, focused on affordability, education, and public safety for the families of District 67.
